The admired wonders..!!!
"Pink City" Jaipur and Amber Fort
Jaipur is the capital city of the north western Indian state of Rajasthan. It is also called "Pink City" as the walls surrounding its Old City and the buildings along the main roads are made of red sandstone. The city was founded in 1728 by Jai Singh II and the old city is planned grid-shaped, which is rare for Indian historic cities. In the early morning and evening, you might see some elephants and camels walking on the streets. Amber Fort, located in the suburbs of Jaipur, is part of "Hill Forts of Rajasthan", which became a World Heritage site in 2013. This magnificent capital fort of Kachwaha Rajputs is a mix of Islam and Rajput styles, and a highlight of Jaipur's sightseeing.
-
Amber Fort (WH site)
The capital fort of Amber Kingdom in 16th century. The Rajasthan styled interior decoration is a must see.
-
"Palace of Winds" Hawa Mahal
The windows are latticed for the royal women to see the streets without being seen from outside.
-

-
