  1. Delhi

In the morning, meet at your home (hotel) in Delhi or in Gurgaon. Drive to the World Heritage Site, Lal Qila by a private car.
After sightseeing Lal Qila, get on a cycle-rikisha to round in Old Delhi. Then, go to the World Heritage Site Humayu’s Tomb, India Gate, and the President’s Official Residence. Savor the tandoori chicken for your lunch at Moti Mahal is the original restaurant (shop) created this cuisine.After lunch, view the World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar. Later, ride on a train to Varanasi.

In the morning, arrive at Varanasi. After arrival, take a round trip to Sarnath where Buddha taught at first, (Dhamekha Stupa, Ashoka Pillar (Column) (Pillars of Ashoka), Mulagandhakuti Vihara, etc. ) At night, tour to watch Sa puja that is a ritual ceremony of Hindu and performed by the Ganges River.

Khajuraho
In the morning, boat to see the Ganges River in which Hindus bathe. Then, tour the sites in Varanasi (a place of Hindu cremation Manikarnika Ghat, Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple), Durga Temple, etc.)Later, go to the airport to fly to Khajuraho by a domestic line. (No Japanese speaking guide accompanies.)After arrival at Khajuraho, a Japanese speaking guide meets you and tour the group of temples in the World Heritage Site Khajuraho (temples in the west group, temples in the east group).

In the morning, drive to Jhansi. On the way, visit the Orcha remains used to be a capital city of the Vardhan Dynasty. Later, ride on a train to Agra.

In the morning, tour Agra city (the World Heritage Sites, Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, etc.) Later, drive to Jaipur by a private car. On the way, view the World Heritage Site Fatehpur Sikri.

In the morning, ride on an elephant (taxi) to visit the World Heritage Site Amber Fort that is located on the hill in the suburbs of Jaipur. Then, tour the sites in Jaipur (Palace of Breeze (Hawa Mahal), City Palace, the World Heritage Site Jantal Mantal). In the afternoon, drive back to Delhi by a private car (about 5 hours), and see you off at the specific place in Delhi or Gurgaon..

9 World Heritage Sites in the North India

  • Lal Qila – The Red Fort

    Lal Qila was founded in 1638 by Shah Jahan, the fifth emperor of the Mughal Empire and was completed ten years later. It was built as the fortress of the capital city Shah Jahanabad (present day Old Delhi), the city which was named after him.
  • Humayun's Tomb

    Humayun's Tomb, the first Indian Tomb with the Persia-Islamic style was built in 1565 by the empress of Humayun, the second emperor of the Mughal Empire. It is prominently said that building style of Taj Mahal. is quite influenced by this tomb.
  • Qutb Minar

    Qutb Minar is the tallest minaret in India, built by a sultan of Slave Dynasty (1206 - 1290) memorializing its victory against the Hindus. Composed of five stories, the 72.5m high tower has the sculptures on its surface which symbolizes the Quran
  • Khajuraho Groups of Monuments

    Khajuraho is famous for the engraved “love-making couples” of erotic maithunas. It was built by the Chandel dynasty was flourished for the period of 10 b.c. to 13 b.c. The work of buildings has reached a high degree of perfection.
  • Taj Mahal

    It is sometimes called “White Palace”, but it is not a palace but a “tomb” of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.“Mahal” means palace originally, but Mumtaz Mahal is called Taj Mahal which means “crown of palace”, do this name was made.
  • Agra Fort

    From 1565 to 1573, the third Mogul (Mugal) Emperor Akbar built Agra Fort, and one century later the sixth Mogul (Mugal) Emperor Aurangzeb constructed the outer edge and moated the fort.

    The third Mogul (Mugal) Emperor Akbar built the capital city named Fatehpur Sikri. Because of chronical water shortage, the capital city was relocated to Agra in about ten years.The buildings in Fatehpur Sikr were not destroyed by wars and remain their architectural aesthetics (beauty) still now.
